Badass battery monitor3/11/2024 IGLA people pointed me to RKST in Pontiac & when I got there they said they "prefer to install IGLA in tandem with a Compustar system" which I was leery of because I already have factory remote start and I'm not against carrying the little RFID tag to disable the IGLA but I really dont want to have to carry some bulky 2nd fob (especially since the car's got 3 keys.) However the whole Drone Mobile thing is nice in that I'd like to be notified straight to my phone the status of my car if there's any events, so I'm a bit torn because I can't find out specific usability questions and RKST/Compustar's support aren't super helpful on it. I tried to provide this as a general rundown, but I'm sure I missed things so please feel free to ask if you have any I found this thread a while back and have been going through everything to see what the ins/outs were on each component 'cause I'm looking for something for my Charger. ![]() I despise the fact that I now need a battery tender after years of storing Challengers with nothing at all, but it's a small price to pay. I feel like I found exactly the right security solution. I did not see enough value in the added features of the higher level plans to pay what they were asking, but others might. The plan I chose is $10/month annually or $6/month 5 years at a time. The Drone Mobile unit maintains a constant cellular link, so a battery tender is required if not driving the vehicle at least weekly (took about 10 days for mine to drop low enough to require a charge to start). ![]()
